In Matthew 3:13–17, Jesus goes down into the Jordan—but He doesn’t stay down. He comes up out of the water, the heavens open, the Spirit descends, and the Father declares, “This is my beloved Son.”
This moment reveals:
✨ The heart of the Father toward His children
🔥 The power of Jesus’ alignment and obedience
🕊️ The necessity of the Holy Spirit in the believer’s life
If Jesus needed the Spirit to descend and settle on Him, how much more do we?
If the heavens opened for Him, they can open for us.
If He got up, WE CAN GET UP.
